In May of 2024, David tragically lost his life. He left behind his beautiful wife Nicole and
two daughters, Carly and Courtney. David was an elevator engineer and the sole
provider for his family. He was the ultimate family man; he would do whatever he had
to for his family. David and Nicole bought a house in Gibsonia in 2019 and
immediately put in the work to make it a home for their family.
David grew up in Reserve Township and was a beloved member of his community.
Everyone cherished David’s witty humor, helpful demeanor, and work ethic. His real
passion in life was sports when he was younger; he dominated as a three sport athlete
for Shaler Area High School excelling in wrestling, baseball and football. His success
eventually led to him being inducted into the Shaler Area Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021.
David went on to attend California University of Pennsylvania where he had an
incredible athletic career as a catcher in baseball. Beyond his athletic ability, David’s
personality is what really shined through the most. He had the ability to make friends
with anyone, and in no time at all. People genuinely wanted to be around him; and that
energy never left David throughout the duration of his life.
To honor David and keep his spirit alive, The David Sibenac Memorial Golf Outing was
established by his dear friend, Scott Miller. One other thing David loved in life was golf
and that because when he was golfing, he was surrounded by friends and family. Our
hope is to come together to assist with his family’s future endeavors. All donations and
sponsorships will go directly to Nicole, Carly and Courtney so please consider joining
us!
